| This is a quaint little hotel with the amenities of a big one. We are basically in the middle of all the action(Jeanette's Pier down the road and beach across the street). There were only two things and they were in the bathroom. A small hole(think quarter sized)by the bottom right of the door and the shower head pipe isn't securely held in the wall. But that is what makes it seem like house. Nothing's perfect. :0) oh and the lady at ck-in was sweet and helpful. |

| Should have taken advantage of the cancellation time frame as we did not get the rooms we were told we would get. Also, payment was required at the time reservations were made, instead of just holding credit card info. This does not seem to be a good policy. Probably would not stay here again. |

| The hotel was nice but the comforter had a hole in it. when we left for the day to visit we told the chamber maid to go ahead and give us clean towels and clean up a little. Also we asked for more coffee, sugar and creamer packs. They did not leave any coffee for us. But the owner of the hotel while he was checking us in was very helpful and gave us all the information about Nags Head. The beds were too small and the tv was too small. The room was nice and plenty space. |

| We were made to feel right at home as soon as we arrived. They set us up in the end unit in the courtyard. It was nice and sunny with all the windows on the end unit. The heater/a.c. was very loud (that happens with all the salt and sand) . They were willing to relocate us to a room with newer a.c. but we would have to give up our sunny windows so we decided to stay. Everything was very clean. We brought linens with us cause you never know, but we didn't even use them! |

| Not bad for the price. it's not a 5 star hotel, but it's not a dump either. It was clean and quite. |

| We loved our beachfront efficiency! So great to drink coffee we made in the kitchen on our beachfront deck. Cheap and cheerful is what the English would call it. Friendly staff. This is not an upmarket slick chain but rather an Outer Banks tradition. We will be back. I hate to spend a fortune and need to cook for my special diet so I was happy happy happy. Beautiful ocean with great view of the pier. Gulls overhead. |

| We enjoyed the locaton of the hotel. The room was good but a loud television next door was annoying. We were close to the beach and shopping outlets. I would stay again because of the price and location. Their restaurant was also an excellent choice. |

| Knotty pine rooms remind me of the interiors of fishing cabins of the 50's in Michigan. Small but very clean rooms and bathroooms. We needed a room halfway down the Outer Banks, and this filled the bill. Owens Restaurant, on the same property, is not to be missed. Fine dining in classic Southern style at its best. |
